- CeraVe Foaming Facial Cleanser has a unique formula with three essential ceramides (1, 3, 6-II) that cleanses and removes oil without disrupting the protective skin barrier (which can leave skin feeling dry or tight). Gentle foaming action refreshes and cleanses skin, including removing excess oils and makeup, without over-stripping the skin. This gel-based foaming cleanser is an effective yet non-irritating way to cleanse and care for normal to oily skin.
- Ceramides: Essential for healthy skin, ceramides help restore and maintain the skin’s natural barrier. Hyaluronic Acid: Essential for maintaining skin's moisture balance. This ingredient attracts hydration to the skin’s surface and helps give skin a smooth, plump texture. Niacinamide: May help calm skin, reduce transepidermal water loss (TEWL), and increase moisture in skin’s uppermost layer.
- Ceramides are naturally found in your skin (making up 50% of the lipids in the skin barrier) and play a vital role in helping your skin protect you. They help fill in the gaps between your skin cells so your skin can seal in moisture and seal out impurities. All CeraVe products are formulated with three essential ceramides (1, 3, 6-II) to help maintain the skin’s natural barrier.
